The Darners Sewing Needle has a blunt point that works well for cross-stitching on hoods or other situations where more than one pass is made through any particular hole. This darners needle with the blunt point will resist piercing the other piece of thread in the hole. #5 Glovers Leather Needle: This needle has a tapered triangular point with three sharp edges designed to be self-piercing up to medium weight leathers. They are good for repairing bags or gloves and other field items. Each needle type sold individually for 45 cents each or in our value package of five for $1.79.
