This is another new glove by Western Sporting! It is unlike any other falconry glove available today. This glove is for very grippy hawks that squeeze hard on the glove and generally make carrying them a pain. This innovative new glove incorporates a layer of ballistic material under the perching area of the glove that makes it both puncture and crush proof. The ballistic material is commonly used in bullet-proof vests. If you have a hawk that fits this description or just want a glove that is tougher than nails, then this is the one for you!
Care of your falconry glove: We recommend that you do not use oil on falconry gloves as it can harbor disease causing pathogens which can also attack thread and fibers in the leather.
Instead, if you feel you do need to treat them with something, then they should be treated with falconry jesse grease (NurtureSeal - Item: FE5187) or (DB Scientific Jesse Grease - Item: FE5200).
