First published in 1936, this edition, from The Sportsman's Library, is very clean and limited to 500 copies.
This well done reprint of Gilbert Blaine's book on falconry is very welcome. He was a very good game hawker and this book clearly demonstrates his depth of knowledge and experience. It contains 22 chapters of timeless information. We find reprints of these older titles very informing as they remind us of the common sense approach to falconry, how little techniques have changed, and sometimes they remind us of management aspects we have forgotten.
